Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes
This game is very cool, I have never played an action RPG quite like this before. If you have ever wondered what it would be like to be in the middle of one of those epic wars you've seen on the big screen like Braveheart or Lord of The Rings, then you have to try this game. This game contains many RPG elements, leveling, character selection, etc...but, this game also combines the combo tactics of games like Onimusha and Ninja Gaiden. On top of that, you can also command vast armies in which you also get to be a part of. I was awe struck by this game right from the start, the complete chaos of the battle really gives you a first hand view into the life of a soldier in an epic battle.

You have quite a few different characters to select from when the game begins ranging from human to vampire and even primitives. Once the in game play actually begins, you see how big the battlefield really is as hundreds of enemy troops rampage toward your position. Using strategy and combination battle tactics you progress from scenario to scenario all in real time.

The storyline goes as follows: A war breaks out when a small town near the Eastern border of Hironeiden is pillaged by an army of unknown origin. Each of the seven heroes has his/her own campaign revolving around this great war to decide the fate of all mortals. The story takes place in the same time frame as the predecessor, Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders, but will be based on the events that took place before the war, hidden incidents during the war, or decisive battles that were not in The Crusaders.

With enhanced Xbox Live ™ features, players can test their skills in several types of online multiplayer modes. Troop Battle Mode features big scale battles where players manage and command their armies in real-time to defeat opponents. Hero Battle Mode is a deadly arena where up to 6 warriors single-handedly face each other purely depending on their strengths and blades.

Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes features battle scenes in an epic scale never-before-seen, for which the predecessor, Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders, has been celebrated by action/RTS fans worldwide. But this time, the action is even more explosive and the strategy is even deeper.

The graphics in this game are quite good for the massive size of the battles. The sound id good and the music is even better. Instead of having to battle to some baroque tune, you fight to a metal soundtrack. The storyline is good and changes depending on the actions you take, and the character you choose to be. The in game gameplay takes a little bit of getting use to, but once you've mastered it, it becomes very cool. I highly recommend this game to all gamers.
