Playstation 2 Game Reviews: We Love Katamari

We Love KatamariWe love Katamari, I love Katamari and you should too. This game is a great continuation of Katamari Domacy. If you're not familiar with Katamari Domacy the gameplay is quite different from any other game out. You are a prince trying to put the stars back up in the sky by rollup objects up that stick to a Katamari ball. Although the game sounds extremely simply and boring, it is far from it. This game is a blast to play, fun for all ages. The storyline from the original is to place the stars back up in the sky, because the king accidently destroyed them all. Now in this version, you are filling out the rest of the heavens. The idea is still the same but with different worlds and a more egotistical self absorbed king. One thing I didn't particularly like is the new menuing system. The old one was complex enough, but on the new version you start off on the screen and have no idea what to do. I wandered around for a while before I figured out that I needed to talk to a guy who was just standing there yelling something. After that, the game I was familiar with started. The storyline on this game is cute, the sound is fun just like the previous one but with more imaginative remixes of the trademark Katamari songs. The gameplay itself is great as to be expected from a Katamari game. All in all, this game is fun as can be and I recommend this game to everyone.
