GBA Game Reviews: Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance

Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance
This version of castlevania is a combination of an RPG and a side scroller. Not only do you hack and slash but you also gain experience, level up, find new items, aquire new abilites, armor, etc. This is a great game for the GBA. This game is so involved that even with a strategy guide, you could expect to play for quite a few days if not weeks. One of the elements which makes this game a lot of fun to play is the ability to level and gain abilities. There are many sections of this game you can get to or reach when you first start out, which leaves you wondering "what is up there, or behind that, etc." As you progress you gain abilities like double jump, and slide. These abilities let you reach certain places you could not reach before and allows you to see more of the map as you clear it. There are plenty of save spots as you play, so you usually don't loose too much experience when you die (Unless you totally forget like I do every once in a while). The sound on this game is great for a GBA game and so are the graphics. The controls are very comfortable and you don't have to do a lot of reading to know what you are doing. This game is pretty self expanitory as far as how to play it goes. I highly suggest this game to all, regardless of previous Castlevania playing experiences or not.

I aggree with the review of GodLikeMouse and recommend this game to everyone. Even if you haven't played Castlevania games before, this is a good one to start with. I especially like the music, graphics, gameplay and RPG-elements... There's nothing I don't like about this, actually. Try it!
