XBox 360 Game Reviews: Bioshock

BioshockIn a word, this game is "Fantastic". This game was developed so well, it will definately set the pace for future games of the FPS genre. Every detail, control element and immersement element is there. From the art and visuals to the play and sound this game is complete FPS gaming fun with elements of puzzle solving and straight shoot'em up combined.
The graphics couldn't be more impressive, utilizing the latest Unreal 3 engine everything in this game looks superb. The light reflections, shadows, you name it, all done extremely well.
The sound is great and the music and sound effects really add to the games overall immersement.
The storyline and plot is absolutely top notch. What an original idea and done very well. The idea of an under water city built back in the 50's really brings the post modern look and feel of every element in this game to life.
The controls are quick and easy to learn and lends itself well to the overall game play.
All in all, this game is fantastic. One of the best games I have ever played on the XBox 360. If you haven't played this game yet, you're definately missing out.
