PC Game Reviews: Titan Quest

Titan QuestThis game would have been a great game, oh....say 6 years ago. At first glance you'd think that this was a knock off of Diablo 1 or 2, but then you realize, it can't be. Those games have been out for years, no one in there right mind would create a new game off that old engine. But low and behold, this is as close as you can come to that, without actually using the same engine.
The gameplay is almost identical to the Diablo series. The only thing that really stands out as a difference is the much weaker storyline, and the fact that this version is actually 3D not strictly isometeric. Other than that, playwise, control wise, etc...it's basically the same game. This game takes place during the Roman era, Titan Quest, who'd have guessed. You fight the bad guys, woo hoo! And they are monsters, whoo hoo part 2! I became board in almost record time playing this game. This one took close to 10 minutes to become thoroughly bored, only right behind 10 Cent's worst game ever. The sound is the extremely similar to Diablo as well. Stay away from this game, if you really like Diablo styled games that much, play the free community developed mods for it, or upgrad to Guild Wars.
