Moto GP 2006Moto GP 2006 is breath taking at first glance. The graphics are so close to real looking that it's almost scary. The actions and response of the riders are very realistic as well. From the turning of the riders head to check the riders beside and behind to the body physics seen when you eat crap. All very realistic that being said, this game does unfortunately have some major downfalls.
One major drawback on this game is the loading times. From the moment you hit a button and wait to get to the main menu, you're looking at loading times of up to 2 minutes. When you couple that with the loading time of the tracks and reaces, it gets to be old really quick, especially if you're already frusterated from losing the race and all you want to do is restart. That aside, the in game controls are quite difficult to learn and especially difficult to master. I assume this has to do with the ability to not only control velocity and turn, but also braking and leaning. This is the best and most realistic motorcycle racing game I have seen yet, but with its major waiting times, it loses some major points with me. I recommend this game to all major die hard fans of Moto racing, others should probably stay away.
