Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
This game is simply amazing, a truly great game and a wonderful evolution from the previous Oddworld titles. In this game you start off as a bounty hunter bringing in different wanted criminals from around the land. The storyline seems pretty straight forward until you receive a bounty to bring in an almost extinct animal called a Steef. Later in the game low and behold, you are a Steef and the whole time you've been bringing in bounties is simply so that you could have enough money to get surgery and become two legged like everyone else. The game play on this game is awesome. One of the most memorable things about this game is that when you start running, you are running on two legs. If you keep running, you will drop down onto all fours and begin picking up even more speed. The weapons in this game are truly unique as well. You use the animals and creatures around you as weapons. For example, find some spiders and pick them up. Low and behold, you have the ability to ensnare enimies. Later on you can find power ups that mutate your weapons, because they are alive. You can take your furlings who normally just sit in one place until disturbed and make them rabid, so they attack quickly and more effeciently. The storyline on this game is great all the way through. The graphics are superb. The sound is perfect for this type of game, as a matter of fact I would be suprised if after playing this game for a while you didn't walk around trying to sound like the Steef when you talk. If you haven't played this game you need to. Whether you are a fan of the Oddworld games or not, this is an amazing game.
