This game is ok but it could be better. StarFox Assault starts out in a galactic space battle in the Lylat system beteewn Team StarFox and Andross's army. Your first mission is a space battle in which you have to find Andross's mother ship. The gameplay of this game could use some work but if you have the money you should pick this game up. The sound in this game is (if you have ever played the first StarFox game) a remix of the first StarFox game music... [ Full Review ]

Bummer, this game was kind of a let down. I was really looking forward to getting my hands on this title. I've been a Sonic fan from the old Genesis days and was hoping that Sega had learned its lesson from Sonic Heroes, but unfortunately it looks like that haven't. This game starts off well enough, simple storyline, fast gameplay, and you can just run...finally. Soon enough though, you begin to realized that they changed the controls and functionality that really made Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 fun to play. First off, you now have to hit a different button to lightdash. Secondly, you have to hold another button to turn into a ball and spin up. Thirdly, you can't ball up when you're running or quickly unball and continue running at the same speed... [ Full Review ]

GameCube Game Reviews: Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance

This game reminds me of a medieval Advance Tactics. The animation and graphics are very simple, especially by todays standards, the storyline is simple and basic, but somehow this game is still really fun to play. You start of as a young boy training to become a mercenary. This approach gives the basics of battle and gameplay. Unlike traditional turn based games, this turn based style allows you to position and attack over a grid view of the battle area. After you become a full fledge mercenary, you are recruited to battle a town infested with bad guys. After their defeat, you are called to fight again, and so on. The sound is decent but one of my biggest pet peeves right now is having to read dialog between characters. People! We live in a world where there is enough memory to have spoken dialog, reading dialog is so 2 years ago... [ Full Review ]
