When this product first came out, I thought "oh great, another really expesive controller to buy", and skipped purchasing it at its $300 sale price. Now that it has been out for quite some time, I took another look at it and low and behold, now you can purchase it around $100 on ebay.com and the like. So I bought a brand new copy which included the controller and the original game. This game is quite cool for the mech enthusiast. Personally being a huge fan of Robotech and Battletech I find the game insanely cool to play. That being said there are a few draw backs. The first being the controller, I love the complexity of the controller and the real life feel it gives you, especially when boot it up. The problem I found with it right away was that there was no force feedback, and no rumble at all. This to me is a major oversight on this product. Other than that, that game is awesome... This game is very cool, I have never played an action RPG quite like this before. If you have ever wondered what it would be like to be in the middle of one of those epic wars you've seen on the big screen like Braveheart or Lord of The Rings, then you have to try this game. This game contains many RPG elements, leveling, character selection, etc...but, this game also combines the combo tactics of games like Onimusha and Ninja Gaiden. On top of that, you can also command vast armies in which you also get to be a part of. I was awe struck by this game right from the start, the complete chaos of the battle really gives you a first hand view into the life of a soldier in an epic battle... [ Full Review ]

XBox Game Reviews: Castlevania: Curse of Darkness

At first glance into the gameplay of this game, one would probably think...oh great, now Castlevania has gone Onimusha, but make no mistake, this is a really fun addictive game. The open screen graphics are great, as you would expect from a Castlevania game. The in game graphics however are decent, not great in my opinion and nowhere near the quality you are used to in third person 3D adventure games on the XBox. But this doesn't really matter once you start playing. I believe one of the main reasons the graphics aren't quite as good as other titles of the same style is due to the loading speed of each level. As far as Castlevania goes, the levels load extremely fast and you are never left waiting for more than a second or two. Once you get into the gameplay and storyline of this game, it's all over... This game is full of stunning visuals and good game play. The in game controls are very intuitive and easy to get a good feel for. With all that said, this game should sell itself well to 1940 war enthusiasts who enjoy flight sims or dog fighting. Personally, I found this game to be a bit boring after a few minutes simply because of the fact that I'm not a fan of the 1940's war games, nor am I a fan of just straight dog fighting games. There needs to be more than just flight, objectives and weapons to keep me entertained for long periods of time... [ Full Review ]

XBox Game Reviews: Pac-Man World 3

This game is just a bad idea however you try to revamp it. Pac-Man back in the day was a great game...but that was way back in the day. Today, the world can get along just fine without remixed 3D versions of Pac-Man. This time Pac-Man is trying to save the classic ghosts which he is normally trying to avoid. This includes Pinky, Clyde, etc. The main problem with this game aside from the fact that it is completely boring, is the in game control. The camera is a pain in rear, the objects you interact with are glitchy at best and the enemy AI is ridiculous. Level after level it's the same thing with just little twists to try and keep you entertained... [ Full Review ]
