Heroes of The PacificThis game is full of stunning visuals and good game play. The in game controls are very intuitive and easy to get a good feel for. With all that said, this game should sell itself well to 1940 war enthusiasts who enjoy flight sims or dog fighting. Personally, I found this game to be a bit boring after a few minutes simply because of the fact that I'm not a fan of the 1940's war games, nor am I a fan of just straight dog fighting games. There needs to be more than just flight, objectives and weapons to keep me entertained for long periods of time. The storyline evolves as objectives are completed, but for the most part it is simply defend this, blow this up, attack that. The sound is great, I find that they did a really good job capturing the sounds of the planes and weapons of the 1940's. The graphics are fantastic, from the moment you start playing, the in game graphics really capture your eye. Everything from the backgrounds to the smoke and explosions are beautifully rendered in. I would highly recommend this game to fans of the 1940 war era, or fans of arial dog fighting games.
