Final Fantasy III DSOh yeah, this is more than just a port from an old Super Nintendo game to the DS system, this is a brand new game with a familiar storyline. The graphics have been changed from the old school top down look, to a more modern full 3D look and it doesn't stop there. The video sequences are beautifully done, the characters are great to see in full 3D and the storyline is very similar to the original game, but not quite the same. Those of you that are familiar or have actually played the original Final Fantasy III Japanese version game will find that the storyline and game itself are a bit different it this version. The gameplay, leveling and overall flow of the game is the same, but there are subtle differences. The nice part is, all the differences add to the game, none of the changes work against it. The only piece of this game that I'm not a fan about is the lack of Wi-Fi play. You can use the Wi-Fi to send messages and little else. I was unfortunately let down by this, I was hoping for team play. The dual screen is really taken advantage of in this game as well, giving you the player a well layout out game. If your a fan of the Final Fantasy franchise, you might not want to miss this game, it's pure oldschool with newschool fun.
