Dance Dance Revolution Super NovaThis version of DDR seems to be lacking in both the music area and new content. The music is decent at best, and there are really no new show stopper features to speak of. The only real upgrade is the background character dance movements, the appear to be more fluid and realistic much like the XBox version. The Eye Toy can be used with this version as with the previous version. But unlike the previous version, you can turn off the corner arrows for more accurate steps. An additional dance mode called Battle Mode, allows for realtime compition against another player with alternating dance steps. There is also a mode called Stellar Master Mode, which is very much like a quest or mission mode. All in all this version of DDR really wasn't that impressive, mainly because of the lack of good music. Instead of finding new and innovative music to add, they reached back in time for some older songs to fill the gaps. If you're a die hard fan of DDR then you might want to pick this up just for a change of songs, otherwise you might want to go ahead and save your money, this version really isn't worth buying.
