Age of Empires IIIThis game, although difficult to learn initially, is a very good strategy game. The concepts and strategy needed in this kind of game is quite different from what one would be used to in most strategy games. The difficulty of this game in moderate and hard more is well, let's just say it's enough to have even the most well versed strategy gamer on their toes. This RTS game in single player campaign mode is objective based as most strategy games are, however the graphics and gameplay are terrific. The storyline is pretty simple and straight forward as far as strategy games go. This game is really all about getting the upper hand on your enemy by evolving your empire to the next age. As you move from age to age, you gain the ability to manufacture better weapons, train more efficient troops, better armor, more options, etc. The problem is, if you're too slow, you'll soon learn that your enemy has the exact same ability and will reign doom down upon you. The sound is decent, nothing too outstanding. If you're a fan of the previous Age of Empires games, this is a must have. If you're unfamiliar with the franchise, then this game is a good starting point. I recommend this game to all those fans of classic age RTS strategy games along the lines of Warcraft, Command and Conquer, etc.
