DS Game Reviews: Advance Wars: Dual Strike

Advance Wars: Dual Strike
At first glance when I was looking at the box for this game in the store I thought "The graphics are horrible on this game. This is going to suck." But, in fact the graphics aren't the main focus of this game. It's all about the gameplay here. This game is addictive as can be. Right after I started playing this game I forgot all about how crappy some of the graphics were. It's been along time since I've played a pocket game that was truly addictive like this one is. This game is all about strategy. It's a turn based game, but it is done correctly. The game speed starts off correctly as well, it's not too overwhelming and it doesn't start off at moron speed. Level by level you learn more about the types of weapons, troops and tactics to employ to win the campaigns. In about twenty minutes you think your a pro and then wham! Something new and unexpected appears that you have to learn how to overcome. I have a lot of trouble putting this game down, as a matter of fact I've taken it with me everywhere I have been since I have bought it. If you like strategy games like Starcraft or Warcraft, or like turn based strategy games in general. This one is a great one to own. I love this game!

This game is awesome, I can't get enough of it. I'm probably going to beat it any day now, but I still wouldn't mind playing it again. I think this is probably the best strategy game out for the DS as of right now.
